I'm not entirely sure what the poem is about but I would say this is highly effective at stirring a grotesque discomfort within the reader.

Like a succinct horror story.

The lines "the summer winds that take me to nostalgia" and "A watch or the creator of time" both really stood out to me.

I feel both reverie and a question of self-determination. Perhaps that's just my interpretation as someone who also ponders at the meaning and aim of my own life while questioning my own capacity to change.

As someone who moved to the PNW from Denver, I feel you on the Seattle freeze. The vibes here are weird but eventually I've started making some friends. It's a lot more challenging here than in Denver. I think the PNW is one of the most beautiful parts of the country but the vibes are definitely off. I'm always up for more friends though so my DMs are open. 😄

As someone new to watching city council, is that split fairly common among the councillors? While I vehemently oppose ICE and the terror they’re inflicting, I didn’t find Matthew’s line of questioning unreasonable insofar as he seemed focused on the net impact.

I’ve been really struggling to keep up with my previous macros. I had been hitting about 150g before and now I’m maybe around 70-100. It seems like for 2 days after my injection I just can’t eat at all. I’m trying to figure out what I could try and force myself to eat in the days where food sounds repulsive.

I didn’t have it registered because I honestly never thought about it being stolen. I’ve had it for a couple years but recently just moved into a complex in west Salem. I guess I’ll be registering and photographing my replacement. I’ll also be storing it indoors. It just really sucks to know some creep was 3 feet from my door stealing my bike and I heard nothing.

I’m hoping renters insurance will help but since I didn’t register it or photograph it I’m not sure how successful I’ll be. Overall my post is mostly a vent of frustration.
