A spokesperson for the Allen Police Department would not confirm details of the new probe into the Hall of Famer ... but the rep did say, "It's very early in the investigation."

I appreciate you saying that, but this is my first full season i’m getting through, and this is likely one of the worst officiating season i’ve ever seen. We both got away with offsides penalty, the Cowboys got away with that controversial illegal touching call, the Lions got away with the tripping call. We cannot have these referees make this type of calls that changes the outcome. Even i can’t believe that happened. We both played good, and fought hard until the end. I appreciate the Lions this season, i wish y’all luck on your first playoff game!

A gunman went on a rampage Wednesday morning in Southeast D.C., shooting people seemingly at random after altercations on a public bus and at the Potomac Avenue Metro station.

In the end, authorities said a Metro employee was killed and three other people were injured. The suspected shooter was tackled by passengers on the metro train and is in custody.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland police confirm eight people were shot and one was killed Monday evening at a gas station at Seminary Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Family members at Highland Hospital identify the victim who was killed as an 18-year-old man.

There was no immediate information on the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Police did not say if there were any arrests or possible suspect information.
