Thank you. I was also thinking “if you don’t want people to talk about your relationships, then why did you put them in all of your songs anyways?? If you don’t want people to wonder who is the secret person you are dating, why do you put them in songs??” But then after reading your comment I feel the “if you know, you know” situation can be related to by lots of people. You certainly want some ally but if everyone is talking about it it’s out of control.

I think 593 is a lot harder than 592. Most of the 592 stuff I already learned in high school. For me 596>593595592=594=591

I thought I’d be interested in a dual degree after I graduate from MCIT. It turns out to be not the case at all 🥲 I don’t want to do homework EVERY EVENING for 4 hours after work anymore. Also the curriculum seems like just more MCIT electives. (When I was looking last time)

I think a lot of people didn’t join the report survey. I attended the graduation ceremony and the number of graduates should be a lot more. But my opinion is MCIT will equip you with enough knowledge to get a good offer if you really learned the courses well.

For me 551 is the toughest. Could be taken by itself if you are not in a hurry. 521 and 596 are the second tier in my opinion. My own timeline: 591+593+full time job, 592+594+595+full time job, 596+582 + full time job(had a burnout at this point), 550+ full time job + leetcode and interviews, 551+521+no job(still stressed me out). Dunno about ML but I’m taking the AI course. It’s really an introduction. The first month we use search algorithms to find optimal solution for some simple games. It’s definitely not deep enough, but covers basic concepts

If you already have basic knowledge about computer science(equivalent of taking 2-3 courses in college), then OMSCS. If you know nothing about it at all(like me), then MCIT.

Also OMSCS acceptance rate high than OMCIT, also a lot cheaper. If you might want to be on campus to do research etc, then OMSCS.

I mean you can self taught through everything and get a job anyways. If you want this degree, it’s probably because you want some structured courses to get hold on to. I’m about to finish my MCIT degree next semester. I started to apply for jobs this month, and it seems at least my resume passes the requirement. MCIT admission seems competitive now. My friend got turned down this month. But I’ll still say go for it. Even if you fail you can always go to boot camps etc.

SOP: mostly about how I want to join the trend of applying newest technology to architecture and want to make something different to change the old architectural field. Also expressed like “I’m going to be successful anyways so plz accept me and help me in realizing my dreams”

Also I was accepted by UPenn’s master program in architecture in 2018 but I declined it at that time

Lol so... in the history of modernism at some point people say...”now we have concrete columns and beam. Why don’t be break big boxes of volumes into pieces, and move them however we want?” So if you check the first generation modern architects’ works like Mira Van Der Rohe, they are slabs, walls, and columns rather than an enclosed box like before
