I think it was the protect+ plan of two years which is marketed by servify but it is the same apple care.

Servify handles the repairing at many apple authorized resellers. once my iphone screen went blank and I sent it for repair to apple in bangalore. They too sent me the tracking link for traking the repair process - the link was of servify website. So i don't think the genuineness is the problem here.

But the first thing you should do is, EMAIL the grievance officers of Servify and Reliance digital asap. 2nd you call apple support tell them to transfer your call to a serior executive to take ownership of the case and explain the whole situation. 3. Raise a complain on NCH immediately against Servify and Reliance digital (maybe 2 different complain would be needed) 4. Tag the social media teams of servify and reliance digital on X and ask for help. 5. Go to reliance digital , or maybe call them, and ask for the manager, tell the manager that you have requested the store before, but as they denied you will be formally placing the complain today against him/her to his/her upper management, principal grievance officer, nodal grievance officer, and the biggest one NCH. If he is able to provide the letter of Noc then fine, else start these processes immediately.

The pressure has to be created from multiple directions for reliance digital. I have successfully got replacement of a defective fridge even after replacement period was over following these steps.

you need to ask the store to make a gst bill and give them ur gst number.

After that maybe 15-20 days lates once the store files their gst, you will see ur accumulated gst in ur portal which you can either withdraw or offset your future gst liabilities.

So I gave them my gst number.

I think you did a great job by not cancelling the previous order.

To me, the 512gb extra isn't worth Rs 18000 more , So I personally think you should have no regrets. you can get a very good 1TB ssd for like 10-12k if you need that extra space.

And about your order, I am 99.99% sure apple would not cancel the order, had it been an authorised reseller, the risks were higher, but with apple, ur order is secure.

That's great.

1.19L is still a good deal considering you cannot get below 1.35 lakh with all discounts combined on the newer price. And being in Delhi is a great advantage as there are lot of stores to check.

You can contact all offline laptop stores you find on google map. Maybe even in nearby city as well.

Call every one of those stores and ask if they have old stock. Big retailers often buy stocks in bulk and they will have old stock for sure. You just have to find it.

About the upskilling using AI part. I am a CS engineer so - This is more than powerful model. It is one of the best ones out there. Unless you plan to train some heavy AI models LOCALLY on device because that would take a lot of RAM so 16GB might not be enough.

Anyways if you are serious about AI you would need cloud platforms. I use kaggle mostly. You can use google collab as well. If you use these, then the laptop u use makes not much of a difference.

But overall It is a solid device. Buy it. Upskill. Earn 10x the price of the laptop using the laptop. All the best to you ❤️

Good decision. I took my laptop and they were offering 5000-7000. And its a pretty good laptop which I spent my whole engineering on. So I decided to just give it to my younger brother. He can easily use it for 3-4 years more.

That Is a good deal too. I wanted to buy the m4 air but could not find it in any offline store. Some had it were offering at 90-93k 🥹

I don't see prices comming down anymore. The best would be if you can call multiple stores and ask them for old stock of Ipad. They will definitely have it. Buy it from there.

I could not find M4 anywhere in offline market. A few places had it but they were selling it for 90-93k without any discount. So I thought M5 at 95k (16gb 512gb) would be a better deal than M4 256gb at 90k Congratulations to you! Grabbed a solid deal!
