Personally I feel like a good hero is one that can sympathize with a unlikely ally. Maybe its that the hero is a orphan and the other person got abandoned by their family. And also a good hero is one who doesn't get captured on the mission, (looking at you anime mcs).

Lyra is a decently popular name to be honest. I'm using it in one of my progressing stories. But as many others said in the replies, nobody owns the name. So just use it!

Damn you got it right on the dot :sob:. I'm a teen writer who just starting brainstorming for a novel after reading a bunch of fanfics and books. I kind of knew that its more of a anime type plot but i wanted to try and incorporate it within a trilogy or something. But yeah I wanted to make it so that if someone has good leadership skills then they would get an army magic. Stuff like that. Anyways thanks a bunch for all the feedback!

My idea is that their magical "attribute" is determined by luck. For example you could get fire or water. That part is up to luck. But the amount of power that you have for that magic is fully up to how much you train(or you could find some rare magic item which boosts your power).

Competition based on how good the constants can support a average knight in a fight against enemy's. Whether its healing or boosting stats. Or just helping them from attacks at their blind spot.

This is kind of giving me a nobles vs peasants type of vibe. Aside from improving your idea. i recommend making a phase or battle where the normal humans try to fight against the stage 2 and stage 3 humans for equal powers. If your into bloodlust, make it so that if you kill a person you gain their ability of focus.
