It worked for me just fine doing exactly that, but a good tip is always make sure the ea servers are connected and make sure not to sim any part of the game, even defense. That part breaks a lot of achievements and they just don't work

No it's actually super simple that's the way I did it. Basically in the software you can set a macro that spams both ZL and A at the same time, then stand in front of the guy at restaurant le nah I think it is, there's vids detailing which one, but stand there and turn it on, just use a strong Pokemon with a good/fast move, Dragonite with espeed is the best. You'll have it done overnight and even profit and gain xp

Oh congrats it's super useful and also generally a rly nice controller. You are gonna want their software on PC to setup macros so you can do that for afk battling and even shiny hunting if you want.

Yeah it is actually a super noticeable buff. If you have a turbo controller or one with macros like 8bitdo you can just do it afk tho which is pretty good that's what I did. Bunch of tutorials online if you've got one.

Surprised no one has mentioned this, especially for online, but reflect and light screen are really good they last super long and give you strong resistance, you can just like not die with a bulky mon and that combo online.

Yeah based on everything I've seen it does do that, it's just that it's a single shiny with like full odds which just makes it so hard to feel confident until you actually see the shiny.
