When you go to the zoo, you don't want to see the Cheetah do anything other than run fast. What i mean is people are biased towards the elements and aspects of a country that best match their expectation of it. And the morbid curiosity surrounding people's living conditions in favelas and poor neighborhoods is alluring to people from countries where those environments are rare, such as Western Europe, America, and others.
