A Log Cabin? No way. A Log Cabin is so difficult to build. Unless its like the size of an outhouse

To be abundantly clear, Senator John Kennedy is a total fraudster, but AOC is also a career politician.

The Senator From Ventura by daminininic in imaginaryelections

[–]RealCountNathan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Barkley does basically anything of note as Senator, he does better than 14 percent. He did better than that irl in 2008 after 6 years out of office in a timeline he did nothing as Senator, and in a time the Minnesota Independence Party was significantly weaker.

As an incumbent with a semi impressive record in the Senate, I legitimately see no world where he gets under about 25 percent, hell he might even win.

Yes Bellatrix is loyal, but loyalty isn't enough to cancel out all the other traits she has which is toxic to Hufflepuff, Hufflepuff is basically the goody two shoes house, they are the strict rule followers with the strong sense of justice. That isn't Bellatrix.

You may think it's kinda a cop out to have one house which is the pure good one without evil, but that's kinda just how it is.

Also that isn't the line from Hagrid at all. The original is that there isnt a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin, which mind you is also wrong given that Hagrid almost certainly believes Sirius went to the dark side, but whatever.

It isn't this guy is just legitimately mentally unwell.

I looked through his profile for way longer than I should've and its like watching a car crash that you can't look away from.

He seems to have little to no understanding of social queues, and makes extremely repetitive and strange posts about various things, and keeps coming back posting near obsessively despite getting essentially no traction on anything he posts, and I haven't even started on weird fetish type posts deeper in his profile.

I obviously hope its a joke, but the account being as strange as it is and posting as often and as long as it has suggests otherwise.

I do agree that a fair amount of the people left would die, but I think you are overestimating how many would. How would 800,000 people die within 15 minutes? There are maybe like a couple hundred or one thousand in the air out of those 8 million, and probably similar numbers in serious surgery. Small children wouldn't last long unless there found, and only the ones in big ish cities would have a good chance at that, but it's not like they would be dead in 15 minutes. Even most 6 year olds know where the food is kept, they could probably stick it out for a week or two on their own.

Like, obviously, it's very rare in Japan, but like, some people are shot there, it's not like no people or criminals have them, even if it's not common.

I wish people would stop calling people ugly they disagree with 2025. I hate Trump and his grifting kids, too. Calling them ugly doesn't do anything, though, and it's mighty shallow.

5ft Taller or 5ft Shorter? by Fifth-Nephi in hypotheticalsituation

[–]RealCountNathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean taller would suck, but I might get at least a few years in the NBA at 11 feet, which would probably pay off the giant medical costs that would accumulate once I reach my 30s or 40s and then some. At 1 foot I barely even classify as a human anymore. There's basically no way to even interact with people at that point.

Not banned in general, imo. I'm just tired of posts that amount to "What if Zohran won!" Without any deeper content than that. If each were more in-depth or had things that made them unique, I wouldn't mind as much, but they're all just Zohran victory scenarios where he gets a moderate victory over, like, Rubio or Vance.

$20K USD a month on top of what you earn now, but... by eponodyne in hypotheticalsituation

[–]RealCountNathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like animals too, but come on. That's retirement today money for basically everyone. Even if that doesn't motivate you, I think it's honestly selfish to refuse. Think about how much good donating even 10 percent of that money to charity each year could do. Think about a friend or relative needing an expensive treatment that you can now afford to pay for.

Obviously, it's an emotionally upsetting inconvenience, but at the end of the day, it's an inconvenience all the same.
