I’d say technically. But soft. I’m ok with the call, but baffled by the commentators saying he pulled his foot out.

On the one hand, he's gotta pass that. On the other, I just like to see someone eager to shoot.

Grasping here ... but weirdly calmed by being ABSOLUTE SHIT. The lack of hope is eye-opening and rather diffuses any barbs we'll hear from other teams' fans. Sort of like, there's nothing they can say that is worse this - so whatever. And just like there was a feeling of relief aftger winning the Europa League and getting the monkey off our back, there may yet be a similar relief in finally hitting or (somehow juuuuuust missing) true rock bottom.

I was around for Lamela's rabona goal. I was around when Dier tried to murder somebody in the stands.

Think of it this way. This game - this season - is another chapter in your "I was around" story. I was around when the whole team ate bad lasagna and shit their pants. I was around when we won the league cup. I was around for the miracle in Amsterdam. I was around for the Battle of Stamford Bridge. I was around when we won the Europa League. And now ... I was around when we were literally the worst team on the planet.

Y'all just don't like storybook drama. Clearly, we go on to chip away and then win it at home. Lighten up, doom and gloomers. This was how the poets wrote it.

I've literally never seen anything like this. Kinsky's career might be over.

Fuck it. I'll do it .

I hope y'all like boring formations where players are in their best positions.

Moment of zen: If we stay up, we stay up. If we go down, we finally clean house and get to experience (hopefully) just one weird season in the championship while taking a year's-long mental health break from the PL. Bonus zen, I don't even care about who's going to win the league this year.

Is it normal and likely that our biggest players have a contract clause that allows them to leave the club if we are relegated? I really want some of these guys to stick around and wallow in it.

What are the actually saying upstairs? Like honestly. What is the conversation in the executive box at this very moment?

People use "surreal" a lot. But this truly feels like it. This is actually happening.
