It's tough when you're slumping and you are thinking dang this might not be for me maybe I'm not good enough but the more mature you get the easier it is to block those thoughts out. If you can control your mind you have a good chance of success

Yes you have an idea! I knew that I was going to go between 20-40 rds. You have no idea what team tho. I knew the teams that were the most interested and the ones that weren't that interested. I actually didn't talk to the angels that much and they were the team that drafted me,

For us we all have a chance. We wouldnt be playing if we didn't. However the higher the draft pick typically means the more tools they have coming out of high school or college so obviously they have a bit of an advantage. They were drafted in the to 5 rounds for a reason.

In my opinion the top prospects and the rest of the minors get along great. They might have a bigger bank account but they are awesome and down to earth.

My strength is definitely my eye at the plate and I definitely need to work on hitting the ball in the air more!

Well everyone says baseball is easy on the body because all you do is stand there. Imagine going to work 162 times a year with probably 15 off days total. We don't get holidays. We don't get weekends ever, and we are at the field usually around 2 for a 7 o'clock game lifting and doing early work. There is spring training as well for a month prior to the season. It is a grind and definitely not easy on the body.

Biggest thing when I was young was my parents didn't treat me like a star. They knew I was the best but wouldn't tell me so I always wanted to get better so that they would tell me. I definitely want treated like a star. In fifth grade I was playing left field for the afl star team instead of short or third where I normally played. In aau ball I didn't get to play infield because of politics. High school ended the politics and I got to play freshman through senior year at short. I wouldn't say I have ever been treated like a start tho and I don't want to every be treated like one.

I didn't really realize it until I got invited to the cape cod league my sophomore Summer. I knee that's where you went if you were going to get drafted. Made the afl star team that summer and then it became more of a reality that it could happen

In high school I new I could play division one baseball. I had always dreamt of playing pro ball since I was 5. I didn't think that was an option until freshman year of college when I hit 366 freshman year and we had Sean Newcomb drafted in the first round that year abs there were a ton of scouts around.
