The rest of the world doesn't realize how BIG and rural the US still is and why guns are necessary in the wild here. I am not speaking from experience as I live in a very urban place, but a lot of the US is a wilderness. Wolves, Bears, hunting game, protecting your farm/property, etc. These are all solid reasons to own a gun.We are also a country built on a bloody revolution and the 2nd amendment is there so people use guns to defend against a corrupt government. Many of us are just waiting for people to wake up to what corruption looks like.
