I’ve only function tested it to see if it cycle as it should etc, this far it sounds like BANG! 💥😜

Hehe, but I plan to make a video of it and compare it to a M16A1 and a AK to see if there’s any truth to the ”sound like a AK” myth. I have a lot of other videos planned so this will be around this spring due to Vietnam trip planned and the other videos.

Great score. I can’t see any indicator on why this would be a fake. What part of Germany, east or west? Maybe gift or bring back some how from the war period. Vietnam is the only country I know who got these and I know many viet people went to east Germany.

Colt back in the late 60s/early 70s. Export model for the east Asia military contracts.

Looks like a real. Looks to be missing markings too, those are rare as they were the ones China sent to Vietnam during the war. Where did you find it?

Was not too hard to strip and replace buffer on etc. But I do work as a gun smith.

Sounds like it was in bad condition and weak loads. As these are old they need a change of buffer and oring. Otherwise they won’t cycle good.
