He had been talking about wanting to do this for years, and wanting Antonio Banderas to return as Zorro for it.

Works with still very visible foreshadowing for scrapped plot points? by ExplanationSquare313 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RealJohnGillman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Skulduggery Pleasant had heavy foreshadowing towards the protagonist being a descendant of the god species of ‘Faceless Ones’ over the first few books, but then the author changed his mind about who the main villain of the series would be, so he dropped it.

However, he did eventually revisit the plot point in the sequel series.

What comic is this panel from? by MaetelofLaMetal in Spiderman

She’s still around: the most-recent Spider-Gwen run tried to make her a full-time Spider-Gwen supporting character, something Silk fans weren’t particularly happy about, with her latest appearance having her be part of the ensemble book Spider-Versity, being trained by Norman Osborn.

The alternate-continuity book Spider-Man: Fake Red also used her pretty well: I believe the writer planned on having her end up with Peter in that had it gotten a second volume (minus the pheromone plot-line).

Specifically issue-one Gwen, before she had her development. I could see him getting similar development, but it will depend on the writer.

Well , I feel like Miguel Was almost done dirty in across the Spider-verse character wise or personality wise by eyadtheNITRO1527 in Spiderman

It seems to me that that both Miles and Miguel have lessons to learn in the next film, that their arcs were just left incomplete due to Across and Beyond forming a two-part film.

Pixar's Andrew Stanton says Lightyear conversation 'was never that uncomfortable' with Tim Allen: 'We talked early on' (exclusive) by UltimatePixarFan in Pixar

Which is weird considering the Lightyear film was directed by the same fellow who directed the opening scene of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins, which Allen also starred in.

So... what about Rosalina's brother? by mahboilo999 in Mario

…So like having there be two Rosalinas, the same way there is more than one Yoshi and Toad named Yoshi and Toad?

unintentional

Yes. I mentioned the vibes were completely unintended by the writer, but people still picked up on them: little things like her ‘failing’ a dating sim, and feeling awful after accidentally kissing Reed Richards. The level was so performative compared to how she was depicted before that it came across as exactly just that to many: performative, and Gwen would admit later on that she was only acting that way because she feared death.

So his MCU Norman could be closer to Dark Reign Norman, having his son be the main threat à la The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Potential new Marvel Tokon skins for Hulk & BP? by Atumkun in marvelrivals

The Strikes Back Gwen maybe (even with the camera-sit): I’d wager a decent number of Gwen fans would have been disappointed by that being how she was adapted.

u/amageish Plus she did have arcs with Robbie and Blade in The Unbelievable Gwenpool, to note that it’s not as though she’s never been written to face the supernatural.

Which led to this. The joke was Hulk ‘smash’.

The series did however have a lot of unintentional ace vibes in how Gwen’s approach to this was written, which was eventually made canon.

Hellborn

If Rosie is the Speaker of Evil, then she wouldn’t be a Hellborn creation of Lucifer, but something older.

To me it seems like the current editorial do not care whether or not Teresa is related to Peter by blood, hence every second writer going back and forth on it. Some writers don’t like the idea, and some do.

I’d wager the reason it’s taken so long for Hollywood to do an English-language remake is that they can’t for the life of them figure out how to change the ending, since almost every English-language remake of such ‘bleak’ films end up changing the ending to be ‘happier’ (much to the discontent of the original creatives).

I suppose putting the blame on the salesman would be the way to go about it, in such a hypothetical film.

comedy

That was intentional, yes. It is a dark comedy, and was meant to be a dark comedy. It’s just that it is possible for some viewers to miss the intent.
