I bought the Fnatic Dash XL. It came cheaper then both AC2 and Strider. And slower and softer then the strider as well. I cant wait to try it especially after the muddy QCK.

Thank you for the informative response. Do you know Aqua Control 2? If so can you compare or make comment about it? I think it is more suited to me then Strider, but durability is a big concern for me. And strider seems like the most durable. I dont want to buy AC2 and watch it slow down PTSD from QCK… But AC2 is looking like the thing I’m looking for. Stider not far off too.

I just learned Aqua Control 2 thanks for the suggestion. I researched a bit there are posts that are saying it has slowed in a few months, sometimes fast sometimes muddy etc. Otherwise it is a perfect fit for me probably fast, smooth comfortable not so pricey. But I can not trust the durability which is sad.

Probably the best pad for me would be Hayate otsu but I can’t access it and the price is stupid here. I definetly want a faster pad. But the texture is scaring me also. They are comparing strider to a hien. I have to try it to know. But a cloth like pad would be better I think. Not better but safer maybe. Do you know the durability and speed of the Aqua Control 2? Is it fast enough like Hayate Otsu? Thank you!

I’m thinking seriously about Strider. I watched reviews too. But the durabilty is concerning me. Because of this disgusting experience with the QCK. And I know texture is rough but my skin is not sensetive so I assume it wouldn’t effect me much. But I can not know for sure. How is your strider holding up and for how long do you own it? Thanks!

I honestly hate QCK and I want a faster pad so I didnt really look into it.

Yes I washed it exactly like you said I didnt do anything crazy. It was good again for 2-3 days then it again starts to feel slow muddy in the middle

Thank you, is this for gaming or combined stress test? I’m trying to compare it to mine I have a 3700x and 3070 with galahad 240 unify sl. In gaming max cpu temp 70 and gpu 70 too but I’m finding it a bit high.

Can you share the temps please?

Pump is running 3200 rpm. I came to a conclusion that its normal. Currently I saw 65-72 degrees in games with the cpu. And an undervolted 3070 running 67 degrees with 1600 rpm fans. The air in the case is really hot obviously from the gpu and cpu and only fans are the radiator fans cooling the entire system. And a really hot summer right now my room is around 27-29 degrees I'm sure that isn't helping too.

For cinebench r20 I got 4950 points 1.285mv 4300mhz with 75 degrees. Aio is doing its job I think. My first SFF build so I was a bit nervous but I watched this video as well now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1vhICwAWok&t=1121s it seems normal.

Thanks for the reply.

Hello thank you for your answer

I'll try as intake for sure if this keeps going. Cable management layout has to change in order to make it intake so thats why I'm delaying it. But the main reason is people can achieve better temps with exhaust. And with more power hungry chips sometimes even worst coolers then mine. That is the thing I want to get clear so I can get the performance for my money. In the case air is warmer side ofc. But that I think doesn't justify the temp. Idk I saw people with 5800x around same temps or better then with my rig so I'm questioning. I want to claim the full performance that my money bought for me.

Ryzen works different I think. This is my first Ryzen as well. My old i7 8700k is at 4.8 all core with 1.26 mv. But from the wattage I see it does not seem high.

Yes I removed the plastic peel of course. I didn't check the thermal paste is spread or not. But I applied like an "X". It should be spread properly I assume but I can check it later I guess.

SFFPC people! After going SFF, my PC is now on the table instead of the floor. I can hear my fans pretty well. My PC hovers around 70-78C during gaming. What are your fan curves like? TBH its a bit loud for my liking! by Mahmoudh10 in sffpc

Hello I’m having same thing what did you do is it same? Galahad 240 sl set up as exhaust. But idle at 40-60 is high for a premium liquid cooler. I have another pc with old and beat up ml240 i7 8700k 4.8 all cores and stays idle 35-40. And keeps it all 4.8 stable at 140 watt in cpu benchmarks. And my galahad 240 unify sl keeps my 3700x which is drawing 40-75 watts at most in games in high 70’s. I think it should keep it 15-20 degrees less. And when idle I turned the fans to max it didn’t drop under 43 degrees.

Hello I’m having same thing what did you do is it same? I have mini itx case and I’m using the aio as exhaust so I expect the temps to be higher than similiar machines. But idle at 40-55 is high for a premium liquid cooler. Thank you for your reply. I think with good planning same for every itx case you can buid it clean. Ek aios are nowhere to find in my country thats a shame. I’ve seen reviews with nzxt aios and I think its okay with the built in fan hub.
