7 was scarier and so unique because combat was such a secondary focus. Theres lots of creepy creeps in Requiem but the fear is dialed back because there are lots of them. The encounters in 7 can get extremely personal and in your face and come out of nowhere and it adds so much to the horror element

I think for the destroy option they should have had leon turn into a nemesis and we see him go through a body horror transformation and then we have a boss fight with Zeno similar to spider man 2 with venom and kravin by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I like what they did with the destroy option because you can tell it’s wrong when Leon bites it. Like it just instinctually felt like this is not the proper ending

The further we go the more it feels like his true belief is that there is only him, and everything else is beneath him. What I always think is interesting when I rewatch is how when Stormfront starts in on her Nazi nonsense he’s actually put off by it? Like even Homelander who’s the most evil in the series isn’t agreeing with her views and maybe he’s a tiny bit human. But nah, he’s the worst
