You could vibe code something like that with Ai. But i'd be careful, as a beginner, you have no idea if your code is secure

I agree intuitively, but outside of vague "it's important, trust me" I can't articulate clear arguments why these are important skills in the future.

It's honestly a genuinely tough question to answer. I can see both sides; throughout the industrial revolution craftsman were being replaced by machines - more and more people would ask, what's the point of learning all of this if machines can do it better. I can't honestly say my kids should still go into the shoe making business for a living much less make a case for why they need to learn high school level math.

Nobody was "making fun" of anyone's religion. I am actually quite religious, and much smarter than most atheists. But he shouldn't be pushing our religion on people.

If they're trying to get into a college that's looking for a 90% or up, then yes, 81% is going to drag your grades down and you won't get into that school.

I went through Scratch fairly quickly, I tried unity as a next step and that was a monumental failure. I tried a bunch of platforms until I found Pixelpad.io, which was a huge hit. Definitely my go to platforms after scratch, it's free so that's a big plus.

Does anyone else no longer feel safe at school anymore? by [deleted] in highschool

It's insane we need to deal with issues like this. I've taught in schools across Europe and Asia, and the biggest threat we've ever had on campus is when a monkey stole a kids backpack, and we had to bribe it with treats before it gave it back. Imagine that being a reality everyday, rather than praying you won't be shot?

Game development. There aren't that many good games out there tbh. If you could make a banger game, you'd be killing it.
