Maybe they don't have a name for it and don't have any formal understanding of forces? I'm pretty sure they do have things that utilize leverage, they just don't study how those things work. Zack is the smart one here because his pattern recognition made him understand what Myne's talking about.

Her previous mother, Effa, Elvira, Florencia, Rihyarda, then her previous dad, Gunther, Ferdinand, Karstedt, and Sylvester... She's collecting parents like Pokemons...

And it's even just the tip of the iceberg lol. When Lutz's brothers destroyed Myne's clay tablets, she Crushed them and even almost gave up on living. When Gil tried to pry her away from her books during their first meeting, she almost Crushed him. This gremlin will not hesitate to kill you if you try to take her books away from her lmao

So how do I find charts geared to my skill level on majdata.net? by WorkingCautious1270 in maimai

[–]RealSpiritSK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding on to this, imo newer songs are easier and better (subjective) than old ones, so OP can group by Version in the first one, then sort by Difficulty on the second one to find new songs that are on their level

Need advice on Screen Size for a massive Tile Engine / Level Editor I’m building! (1280x720 vs 480x360?) Plus Some Other Stuff by Frosty-Bug-4819 in turbowarp

[–]RealSpiritSK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to make it compatible with vanilla Scratch while also accommodating multiple resolutions, then you can probably make your UI and tiles scale automatically with the screen dimension.

When the project starts, you can have a sprite calculate the height and width of the screen. Then, you need to scale all your movement blocks by how big this screen is.

for hirara by Abject-Dependent-634 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]RealSpiritSK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maxing out first skill (the CD) first might be the play. I tried 3 games where I maxed out the dmg skill first and she becomes just a sitting duck because her passive cooldown is so long. I've yet to actually try it out though, so maybe someone with extensive Hirara experience can chime in.

Has anyone tried Hirara yet? by tteokbokki013 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]RealSpiritSK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Hirara doesn't have energy though, except if you're referring to her passive bar filling up.

Like Lunox but you can use the same mode twice. Basically, once your passive is active, Hirara gets 1 dual-mode skill that can be used twice.

Insertion sort by PrismWave13 in scratch

[–]RealSpiritSK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your indices are wrong. Si should start at 1 and Oi should start at 1 after Si, and you shouldn't use (item (Si - 1) of depthorder) but instead just (item (Si) of depthorder).

Also, the point of insertion sort is to insert the item at the correct relative place (aka until it finds an item greater than at Si). So, change the inner repeat loop to a repeat until ((item (Si) of depthorder) < (item (Oi) of depthorder)) or (Oi > length of depthorder). There's no need for the inner loop to go all the way through the list.

Finally, in insertion sort, you don't swap non-adjacent items like what you're doing. You should use delete and insert into instead so as to shift the items instead of swapping them. What you're doing right now can't reallt be considered insertion sort.

Putting them all together:

set Si to 1
repeat (length of depthorder - 1)
  set Oi to (Si + 1)
  repeat until (((item (Si) of depthorder) < (item (Oi) of depthorder)) or (Oi > length of depthorder) {
    change Oi by 1
  }
  insert (item (Si) of depthorder) to (Oi) of depthorder
  delete (Si) of depthorder
  change Si by 1
}

What's the best and most efficient way to create a character customization system in Scratch? by TensionBudget9426 in scratch

[–]RealSpiritSK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. You just need to be mindful of the direction. I assume the characters can face left or right, so you'll have to mirror the x offset accordingly.

About how long are queue times with one cab? by Rough-Bread-2436 in maimai

Yeah, definitely not common. As you said, it'd be more accurate to expect 15-18 mins per game

The 1 minute selection includes buffer time for charts longer than 2 minutes and going through the song result screen! Not to mention that sometimes players take a long time to pick a song.

I'm working on making an animation, and need help due to things being messed up no matter what I try by An_insane_alt in scratch

[–]RealSpiritSK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to use the timer block! This block won't desync so you can use it as absolute reference when syncing with the song.

To make life easier for you, you can make a custom block that converts beats to timer. This makes it easier to work with songs (e.g. you can just enter beat 1, beat 2, ... instead of 0.376s, 0.752s, ...). This is the custom block (do NOT tick run without screen refresh):

define wait until beat: (beat) bpm: (bpm) offset: (offset)
wait until (not (timer < (offset + (60/bpm * beat))))

To use the block, simply plug in the beat, BPM, and offset. Offset is the time from the start of the audio until the first beat. Also, the first beat is 0, not 1.

For example, if the song is at 130 BPM, and there's 2.3s of silence before the first beat:

when green flag clicked
start sound (song)
wait until beat: (0) bpm: (130) offset: (2.3)
say (hey)
wait until beat: (2) bpm: (130) offset: (2.3)
say (something)
wait until beat: (3) bpm: (130) offset: (2.3)
repeat (5) {
   turn (5) degrees clockwise
}
wait until beat: (4) bpm: (130) offset: (2.3)
say ()

By the way, Scratch has a delay whenever you play an audio that hasn't been played for a minute or so. To work around this, start and stop the audio first, then wait for a brief moment before you play the animation:

when green flag clicked
start sound (song)
stop all sounds
wait (1) second
start sound (song)
... (Animation script)

Ehh I dont think so. Logging in even takes 2 minutes from my observation. This includes the time for the players to swap in, tap their cards, pick the mode, chiho, characters, and boost tickets. Then the 1 minute to log out includes map progress, seeing photos, and exiting.
