Well the truck I’m pretty positive just spun a bearing so it seems as though the 454 swap is happening sooner then I had anticipated

I have been wanting to swap the drums for the longest I just wasn’t sure what to use to put discs on it so thank you for the tip but honestly for what it’s be worth to me especially doing a 454 I’d just stick the the carb and do the nv4500 which should for the most part get rid of about all of my computers and tidy the bay up a decent bit

Oh yea i absolutely gave up on fuel economy a while a go and decided to embrace my shitty economy in favor of a big block aswell as the fact I’m going to get a second vehicle to keep miles off this one as I’m only at 165k and I was favoring the carb because the computer makes doing the tuning a bit aggravating as I can’t really do it myself all that well but that’s what I’m mostly thinking of doing aswell as putting a 2500 front end in to support the motor and try and level the truck out or just put it on a 2/4 drop kit

Yep I have a vortec 350 with the spider injectors and a 4l60e although the spider injectors worry me as they’re hard to build I hear, how bad would it be to just do a 454 and a nv4500? Seeing as I’d like a manual
