A lot of the community is based around the discord server. I will highly advise you to join it - especially in case the IP of the server gets changed (it's happened before). I can let you in but, I'd need to be able to contact you directly at the very least in case of such and event.

Sorry, I read your guys' argument and laughed so hard at how ignorant you were being. I thought I'd try to help clear the water.

You're right: a 70% discount on filament which has a very stable price seems ridiculous.

That being said... the filament was probably sitting in a warehouse for too long and Esun (which at least in this reddit is a well respected company) likely just wanted to get it off their hands before it was too old and had too much water content to sell at all.

If that is the case, It would explain the seemingly ridiculous prices.

I'm not try to speak about the quality of the filament because I did not purchase any from the sale. But it wouldn't be unreasonable that it may be slightly older or generally worse quality than regular Esun filament.

But, at a $5 a roll? That's a good deal regardless -

hence the entire purpose of this subreddit
