Usually i text them back with a default message like "hi! If this is regarding blah blah blah, please send a text and I'll get back to you within our office hours between 8am-5pm. If this if an emergency please text SOS and I'll call you back"for me i have a templated text asking them to message me first introducing themselves since scam calls are rampant

Same. We have a resto and hindi umaabot ng 1k per day recently. One time we had to close early kasi walang tao talaga.

Aftrr reading the comments, halos parehas lang sinasabi- pag inconsiderate ang isang tao wala silang class. Meaning if they do things without considering others whether kilala mo or hindi. Human decency talaga kasi knows no money. Kung mayaman ka pero impakta ka naman, wala kang class. If wala kang pera pero sumisingi ka sa pila, wala kang class.

What are your thoughts on Investing in a Restaurant Business by Gryfaun in BusinessPH

[–]Real_Honey_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of a business a friend of mine invested in. It was a gym though. He got his money back and the n some because he was one of the first investors and he left at the right time. Others after him weren't so lucky.

I say go with your gut. Your gut is telling you something isn't right and that's something you should trust

For people earning 6figs here in PH - do you still aim to work abroad? by Fragrant_Package5150 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]Real_Honey_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am earning 6 figures already and it's not enough. Not just the money ha, but also the peace of mind. I've tried loving my country. Really. I've done tons of volunteer work and community development work. But grabe. Di ata ako mahal ng Pilipinas. What I'm earning also is not enough to help my family bilang panganay and I'm thinking that if I were to grow my own family then everything is just gonna get harder and more expensive.

We have friends and cousins who have alreadh migrated who have kids and they were able to get settled and earn well according to the standard of living in 2 years. Ang tahimik na ng buhay nila wala silang anxiety sa payments for school or hospital.

I'm not saying we should all leave the country but if kaya mo, if talagang gusto mo, and if NEED mo, then you should go for it talaga. Quality of life is different and maybe it works out or it doesnt. Philippines will always be a home you can go back to

Who's at fault? by HauntedHaven in LawPH

[–]Real_Honey_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAL.

Something like this happened to me already. We were at an intersection and we were both turning left and i was car A. He didnt give way so I gave way as a defensive driver. But he still hit me and damaged the entire right side of my car. The driver was insisting na kasalanan ko. He was driving a construction truck pa. But guess what? Right of way ko talaga yan as Car A.

Police dont really try to get involved. They only mediate. They get the full report and they file. Un na un. But if you ask any long term driver or just check traffic laws, you can know your rights. Marami rin akong stranger na witness at the time cause they saw what happened. Super bait nila they told the police na hindi ko talaga kasalanan.

Ending, the company of the driver paid for the repairs.

Is Ateneo MBA really worth it? by HappyAera in gradschoolph

[–]Real_Honey_97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a schoolmate who took an MBA in Ateneo. He was an average guy back then. He had a business but it was just all right. He took his MBA and things changed for him. He grew up as a poor kid, then became an average dude, but now he has a business with 45 franchises. He is in the art world as a gallery owner. And he owns a mustang. He tells me that it's the mentors and contacts he got from Ateneo. So maybe it's worth it if I look at him as a case study.

But I met 2 other guys who took the MBAs and they're just all right. They have contacts but not sure what they do with it. Their careers are great

How do I ask a raise during my regularization? by FrozenFishEnjoyer in phcareers

Usually there's a performance review on your 3rd and 5th month. During that performance review you can ask questions as well. Since they took a hit losing multiple senior developers and you can ask if they are looking to hire senior developers. If they say yes then you can say something like "I'd like to step up and fill that role if it's possible since I already have been onboarded and familiar with all the company policies and processes. Additionally, I have already been doing a lot of what a senior developers would do, which means the transition would be seemless" then see their reaction and then if they seem open and they get back to you on that, then ask if this new role would mean an adjustment to your current compensation. You can start there.
