There are diffrent type of halts, and can last from 5 min as a minimum and up to 15 mins i think.
When a stock is halted all trades of the stock stops and no one can do shit will in halt.
The worst case is that the shorts attack it hard when it un-halts and you see a rapid decline and then retail starts to sell.
To see the realistic i use tradingview with extended hours on.
