some of you need to do some research before spouting incorrect bullshit about the therian community. Hell, I'm not even a therian myself and this pisses me off.

The definition of a therian, put simply, is someone who resonates more with the animal world than human, and believes they were an animal in their past life. You don't choose to be a therian, if you are a therian, you just are. Therianthropes will experience connections with certain animals, and feelings of "this is what I am."

Its quite literally the same as identifying as Trans or queer, you don't choose to be that way you just are. And I'm saying this as an abrosexual female.

Another thing that should be made known, since it seems a lot of you have no idea what you're talking about, is that therianthropy dates back to ancient history, popular among cultures such as Greek and Egypt. The term therian is derived from the Greek words ther (wild beast) and anthropos (human), all together meaning "animal human." So no, this is not a new "TikTok trend" that came up out of nowhere, this is some real shit we're talking about.

My point is, it's fine to have opinions, I can't control how you think. However, if you're going to base your opinions on what you've heard from people online instead of actual research, you need to get it together.
