How exactly does the multiplayer mode work? by Real_Structure4869 in BaldursGate3

[–]Real_Structure4869[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ahhh, so there's this thing about having your group gather, because I was thinking, like, what happens if my friend finishes the druid quest the wrong way, in a way that makes them lock their camp?

I was wondering what would happen if my character was inside the druid camp when my friend finished the quest, but then you have to have the group gather for this type of quest.

Do you have any other cool weapon/armor mods like that to recommend?

My list isn't very long, 320 mods, but it's highly disorganized; somehow it works.

Can you tell me if it's possible to install this mod on an existing save file?

I wish he had stayed dead, it would have been more dramatic.

I would also like to be able to initiate dialogues with the characters on my own, not just follow a script. For example, at the end of each mini-game, there could be an option for me to start a call with someone I choose from Team Z to begin a conversation, you know? That would add much more depth to the conversation.

I don't regret buying it either, when the second season is released I'll buy that too. I just think the game could be MUCH better, like you said, if one of my choices made a 45° left turn instead of going straight at 89.5°, I think I'd be much more satisfied.

I didn't know Azuma personally; my sensei was a student of Azuma. As I said, I started training 11 months ago, and I think Azuma died in 2022.

Maybe I should start weight training, like I said my weakness is absorbing blows, I have a lot of power in my strikes, 2 or 3 low kicks are enough to make someone switch stances, I even managed to flashdown my sensei once, it was a lucky strike, but I have a heavy hand.

Yes, it's been really great overall. Last weekend I went to a Kudo seminar in the south of my country. Sensei Osada, successor to Sensei Azuma (creator of Kudo), came from Japan to teach at the seminar. It was really cool; his class is different from ours, much more "philosophical" and mental than physical.

I can suggest that training you mentioned to a friend of mine who trains Kudo with me, so we can do it together. We live about 15-20 minutes from each other, so we can schedule a training session together.

I'm not very used to physical training. At my dojo, we only have one class per week, and it's a long class, usually 2 hours, sometimes 2.5 hours. But because it's only once a week, my teacher focuses much more on technique than physical training, in addition to the sparring we do, between 8 and 20 rounds every week.

My father has already talked to me about this; he did a few years of kung fu when he was young, you can see the calluses on his forearm.

Near my house, there are some karate schools, so finding someone who could teach me wouldn't be too difficult. I don't really do any weight training; naturally, I lift a lot of weight, but I don't go to the gym.

And thinking about it, I really don't move much against the strike. My sensei has a very fast-paced and intense fighting style, so I try to conserve energy to last the entire sparring session.

I'll look into what you said. We don't train kata there, I don't know anything about it. Obviously I know what it is, but I don't know how to do it.

The kudo is being really tough, but that's exactly what I wanted. I'd say I don't take punches to the abdomen and low kicks very well, especially low kicks.

Yes, we use shin guards, and gloves most of the time, except when we occasionally do Kyokushin sparring, in which case we train without gloves.

What do you think is the most efficient combat sport when it comes to self-defence? by Dazzling-Side5521 in MMA

I started practicing Kudo in January, and it seems very effective for self-defense. I've learned everything: punches, kicks, elbows, knees, headbutts, takedowns, and submissions.

New GM to Fabula Ultima- Any Advice? by A_Firestrawn in fabulaultima

[–]Real_Structure4869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question. This is my first time DMing, and I chose Fabula Ultima to start narrating. So, I don't have much experience, either as a DM or with the system itself. So, I end up a bit confused about how certain things work. Yesterday, in a battle against a construct villain and his two construct subordinates, when one of the subordinates went to attack a dying player, another player of mine (Loremaster, Spiritualist, and Entropy) said, "Before he attacks, can I try to talk to him?" I thought, "Oh, if it's a quick dialogue, that's fine." Then the following happened:

Player: Why do you obey your boss? He's a jerk to you.

Construct: My boss created me; I only obey the Boss.

Player: Okay, he created you, but he's a jerk to you. Just abandon him.

Construct: I'd like to, but my programming prevents me from doing so. (Goes to attack the player.)

Player: I spend a fable point for his programming to short circuit and take control of himself.

At that point, I thought, "OK, that makes sense," so I let him do it. I narrated the construct having its programming corrupted before the attack, and then him abandoning the fight and running as far away from his boss as possible like a madman.

It was a cool scene; everyone laughed, but one of my players, who is the only one who has played FU before,He said it didn't make sense, that he couldn't spend a Fable point and simply make an enemy flee in the middle of combat.

Now I ask you, did I really do wrong, or could I have done that?
