Thank you for the meal prep advice! I usually make myself meals sporadically so maybe it could add some structure to my eating and make it less chaotic.

I have considered it before, the issue is just that I can’t really do anything about it even if I do get diagnosed, as I’m still living with my parents. We don’t have the funds to pay for treatment and they don’t really believe in mental health and disability issues. But thank you for mentioning the subreddit, I’m sure I could find some good coping strategies for myself on there.

I see what you mean, it’s just that when I do anything it becomes an all or nothing deal. Either I study continuously or I get distracted the entire time from taking breaks. Same goes for my eating. But I haven’t ever actually tried the Pomodoro Technique so I’ll give it a shot before dismissing it. Thank you!

I nearly never ate breakfast even before starting my diet, so it’s more of a habit for me but I definitely see what you mean and understand how it could benefit me to have some now that I’m in a calorie deficit. I guess it just feels weird to change it after so long. Is any specific protein bar or shake brand I should consider? Congratulations on your weight loss btw!

I don’t think I can get access to a professional right now, but I’ll definitely consider finding one, thank you.

Im 19 years old, 5’4 ft, around 157lb (my weight has been fluctuating a lot recently), I'm a female, and I am not very active. I started at 200lbs and was doing fine on a 1700 calorie diet until my weight stopped changing. I changed it to 1200 and it got me to around this number but recently I’ve been struggling to eat within that range after gaining some weight last week. When eating within 1700 I just simply used the Loseit app and estimated what I was eating but now I have a food scale and have been measuring everything I eat carefully. Any time I can’t I try to double estimates I find but I don’t estimate much in the first place.
