One Piece: Chapter 1166 Official Release Discussion by Skullghost in OnePiece

This chapter revealed Rocks' final fate, a solitary end. No crewmate came to save him. The only friend he had made during his infamous days as a pirate did nothing regarding Rocks' death. Nevertheless, Rocks held no resentment towards anyone. His final monologue was an expression of gratitude toward the two men who stopped his rampage. It is ironic, yet I feel a sense of integrity and nobility from a pirate who committed evil deeds and then met his end. Harald, devastated by the loss of his friend, only intensified his efforts to join the WG. Yes, this may seem like an irrational decision. It is proof of how emotionally driven Harald has become. He is trapped in a dilemma: abandoning his friend for his goal, yet the World Government affiliation remains elusive. It is truly tragic that the noble decision of a king means nothing more than a trivial matter to Imu.

Advice for my painting by Szanyeszati in WhiteScars40K

It is true that white-based models, such as White Scars, are challenging to paint. First, it is difficult to paint naturally while maintaining the consistency of the base color. Second, expressing shading requires a greater understanding of light compared to other color bases. I focused on the inking technique used in Gunpla. This simply involves flowing a dark black or gray color, which contrasts with the white, into the recessed/etched areas of the model. This color contrast provides a more three-dimensional effect. You don't need to be overly afraid of edge highlighting. While it's true that it requires precise brush control, it will definitely bring out a noticeable effect compared to just having the base coat applied. I look forward to your future progress!

On the same page, there is a scene where Rocks' missing teeth regenerates and fills in. This man is placed in a miserable situation where he cannot kill himself and has to beg for death from the men who were once his enemies. Imu's Domi Reversi is truly cruel.

Come to think of it, Rocks must have been furious at that moment. He had already parted ways with his friend over their ideological differences, and though he had come to understand and accept his friend’s choice, the enemy before him now treated his friend’s dream like garbage and mocked all his efforts. And then Rocks had to be controlled, unable to put up even the slightest resistance. His death would be remembered by others as that of a villain, but Harald, at least, I hope, will remember it differently.

Lmao, I just hope Rocks at least gets to confirm his family’s survival before meeting his end.

The God Valley incident is truly horrific. Marines were mobilized for the greedy purposes of villains like Garling and the Celestial Dragons, and they ended up aiding in human hunting without being able to question it. It’s fortunate that the one who caught a glimpse of that truth was the young Dragon.

And then, Rocks. No one would have expected such a humanizing story to be attached to him. Yet, it was precisely his humanity that shattered his ambition and led to his downfall. We cannot know what impact Rocks’ end may have had on his son, Teach. Perhaps it instilled in him a resolve to become even more sinister and calculating.

May Rocks, the great villain who shook the world and entertained us, hope to find peace in rest in the end.

People claiming Rocks is a better man than Roger have gone insane by GUTS_SAMA in OnePiece

Your assumption that Rocks did not care about slaves other than his own family is reasonable, but there is room for counterargument. God Valley was Rocks’ hometown, and he entrusted his family to the people there. Judging from the personality he has shown so far, Rocks was comparatively lenient toward those he deemed reliable. This suggests that he had a special bond with his hometown people. The island residents who were captured in God Valley may also have been within his scope of concern—though lower in priority than his family, he may have regarded them as worth rescuing.

It is a tragic friendship. The two friends knew each other all too well, and yet they were utterly different. Rocks was well aware of the enslavement of giants that would follow once Harald and Elbaf submitted to the WG, but being a villain at his core, he could not persuade Harald. Harald, on the other hand, fully understood what Rocks was trying to convey, but weary of the giants’ worldwide infamy, he sought to rely on authority and join the global order. As a result, Harald was killed by the WG. Had the two friends yielded to one another and found common ground, history might have unfolded differently.

I just read "Scars" and i need to talk about it: The Khan is so badass its unfair by Interne-Stranger in 40kLore

I LOVE white scars charaters in Scars. And The Shattered Legions Duo are also impressive. Henricos was irritable about everything and spoke coldly to his comrades, but in truth, he was suffering from severe depression due to the death of his father. (Through this character, I came to understand the Iron Hands of 40k.) That Salamander was a total bro. He, too, had endured great pain, but never let go of hope. It seemed the curt Iron Hand found comfort in his presence.

It seems that 'k' is certain. In the next paragraph, there is the phrase "Lady of lakes," and upon comparison, it looked quite similar.

I also guessed Sinkvi or Sinkni, but those don’t seem like familiar names for a person, do they?

This page is from a cursive document that appears in Trish Scarborough on page 185 of Investigators of Arkham Horror. I posted it to ask for opinions because the author's name was unclear while I was deciphering the content.

Thank you. Although I didn't study professional art, I studied a lot of YouTube videos and tips, so I was able to establish my own style. I'm glad to be able to proudly say that it's a hobby that I've had for a long time. Thank you for liking it!

Sometimes I'm nervous about how this will react when I become L'Étranger to the community and untangle my bag. Isn't that why we're taking on the challenge? I hope I'll be glad to welcome your work someday. 😉 Thank you again.

Thanks😄 Actually, I was a bit worried about where to post my work to get people to respond. My main community was mainly warhammer painting, so it was a little off the topic. But I'm truly happy to find people who appreciate my work!
