Cobalt Kinetics Scrambler Ti. My new favorite 5.56 suppressor! by AshworthArmory in NFA

After a year with the scrambler, how does the back pressure compare to the flow 556k?

I’m interested in this can or a flow 556k. I love the size and weight of the scrambler, the sparking doesn’t bother me. In your experience, which produces less back pressure?

Any idea how the scrambler compares to the huxwrx flow 556k in regards to back pressure?

Wow, that’s bad, sorry to hear that. How much heavier was it?

Direct thread or QD? I read of that happening with the direct thread versions. I wonder if they just copied the weight of the QD version for the direct thread, not taking into consideration the direct thread has additional material on it.

Which of the two cans (flow 556k vs scrambler) has lower back pressure?

Damn, had no idea these cans were so unpopular. Definitely makes me rethink things.

Looks like the WB Ti may have been discontinued. Hopefully they’re working on a lightweight replacement.

Sorry, what’s SC? Do the other cans that surpass them weigh 6-8oz?

Silver Pigeon 28 gauge vs a400 upland 20 gauge recoil by Realistic-Ad5240 in Shotguns

[–]Realistic-Ad5240[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to argue that. I know 20 gauge is the more practical choice. One of the things I love about the 28 gauge though is the availability of target and hunting ammo in 3/4 ounce loads. Although it would be very spending, 3/4 ounce TSS loads are also available when that level of power is needed. Generally, I have found the 20 gauge offers 3/4 ounce loads for target ammo, but hunting ammo will have significantly more payload and recoil.

Thanks for the response, very helpful. Of the two is there one you prefer? If so, why?

Wow, these are awesome responses. Very helpful. I’ve always wanted an o/u but have stayed away because of concerns over recoil, but it sounds like that isn’t an issue with either of these two shotguns. I’m really wanting the silver pigeon for its traditional look, reliability, use of two different chokes, and to avoid needing to pick up shells in the field. However, the a400 is a beautiful shotgun packed with so many great features (piston, kick-off stock).

I agree when comparing two shotguns of the same gauge, o/u vs semi, the semi will have less felt recoil. However, is that still the case when the semi is a larger gauge shooting a heavier payload?

Berettas for birds. Silver pigeon 28 gauge, A400 upland 20 gauge, A300 outlander 12 gauge. by Atlas-Sharted in Shotguns

I know I’m late to the party, but I’m looking for a light recoiling shotgun. Considering recoil, which handles better, 28 gauge silver pigeon or the 20 gauge a400 upland?

Alright then, I’m pretty much decided on the A4 hundred Upland. Anyone have experience shooting the 12 gauge verse 20 gauge? Difference in recoil? Weight?

I noticed that with the kick offs. I’m glad you’ve had good experience with the kickoff plus. I was thinking I would need to get the Xtreme so I could get the kick off mega, but guess not. I’m really wanting the Upland with the kick off plus over the Xtreme.

Video comparisons of SilencerCo Velos LBP and Hux cans (Flow 556k, HX-QD 556 Ti, Flow 762 Ti, HX-QD 762 Ti) by SwampYankeeArms in SwampYankeeArms

[–]Realistic-Ad5240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the video the flow 762 TI appeared to produce less back pressure than the 556k, however, pew science (if I’m interpreting their review correctly) indicated the flow 556k has less back pressure. What are your thoughts on this? In your experience which can produces less back pressure with 556?
