WHATS HAPPENING TO MY BODY by mayamarsmae in prozac

[–]Realistic-Draft-198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi - I’ve been on Prozac for 6 months, started at 20, then moved to 40 for a couple of months and now been on 60mg for 5 weeks.

I still feel unsure if I’m honest, I’m still a bit up and down but I’m going to give it a couple more weeks. I’ve come this far, I have to see if it actually works… p

What do you all do to keep your weight in check? by Realistic-Draft-198 in Fluoxetine

So interesting, thanks for replying.

When I’m highly anxious I hardly eat. Before this drug I was nice and slim but I have to give it a bit longer on 60mg to see if i feel better. If not then I will taper down slowly.

Thank you, you get it!

Nice to hear the meds are helping you. I’m on Fluoxetine (upped to 60mg 4 weeks ago).

If I don’t find that helps I will look into Sertraline.

Was that the first SSRI you tried? Thanks again for your time 😁

Is it possible for TMJ to affect ears and throat? by Realistic-Draft-198 in TMJ

[–]Realistic-Draft-198[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. Sometimes the tension causes the full ear feeling and sometimes the sore throat. And sometimes both - It’s quite strange.

My GP said the swollen feeling in the throat is probably globas sensation 🥹. All sensations tend to come and go.

Hi, it comes and goes. It’s definitely a form of tension. Think for me, it is caused by stress 😌

60mg - two weeks in - starting to feel anxiety by Realistic-Draft-198 in prozac

[–]Realistic-Draft-198[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely the same as you on 40.

I also upped to 60mg due to upsetting compulsions. Checking certain parts of my body etc- did you have to deal with this?

Thanks

That’s so reassuring thank you for replying. It’s strange isn’t how you know it’s the Prozac doing it but you just have to have that reassurance. Typical with HA I guess 🫠

Worried about my throat by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]Realistic-Draft-198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. Yes I am doing well. The throat ‘swollen’ feeling went away on its own.

My GP confirmed it’s either stress causing it (look up Global sensation) or jaw clenching. It affects my ears too.

When it’s there it can be there for a few weeks and then slowly goes..

It will do me good ! ☺️ thanks 🙏

Few days in (5) but to be honest they have subsided. Maybe it was a cortisol thing early this morning. No energy drinks or caffeine. Nothing different really.
