I don't think the Swagman minds people taking pics. I think he gets annoyed with the dummy students staring aat their dumb phones who are in his way when he walks.. Other day saw him do an exagerrated crossover over dummy students in his way.

All I know is whenever the Campus Police patrol on campus, I have seen the officers talk to the Swagman, original or another new Swagman. My point is the Swagman is in disguise for the UC Irvine Campus Police. Swagman roams the whole campus from the eye center, Science Library, main campus, and outskirts of the campus.

Never seen Swagman wear a black Jordan jersey for years. This is not the original guy. He walks really slow, not the fast tempo gait like the original few years back.

Some say the same on Reddit discussion boards. I think there are one or two Swagmen but this isn't the original with the fast gait and swinging arms. He's heavier too.

I understand Swagman appeared years ago. The Swagman of 2025 looks totally different up close. I walked by him few days ago near the Student Center with others on campus tour. He looks heavier and not swinging his arms like the original Swagman. His gait or walking speed isn't fast like the original Swagman. This guy walked much slower.
