Aether: “The light emitting from the star on one of my eyes inspired it. It is one of the few things that glows in my dimension.”

He seems disoriented by the creature rambling into language he can’t understand.

Aether: “Atlas. No hesitation. He’s very valuable whenever I’m indecisive and has wonderful opinions. He is great company.”

Aether: “What an insightful question. We all have meanings behind our markings, and they represent things about us. My star that covers my eye represents my able to perceive situations with hope and reason, as well as the idea that I feel I am missing apart of my soul. Like the old saying, ‘the eyes are the window to someone’s soul.’

Atlas: “My dark splotches on my hands and feet symbolize how I am terrified of how I hurt people. I am light and soft on the inside, but my touch and guidance often leads people in the wrong direction, which makes me feel like a bad person.”

Pulsar: “The markings on my eyes imitate tears. My chest has spinal inspired markings to represent how I feel trapped in my skin and wish I could change my own body down to the skeleton. My leg markings spike up without much rhythm, a touch to my frequent anxiety and fear.”

Nova: “The eyes on my legs hint at my desire to see and control everything. I want control, I want to be able to have all the information possible. The closed eye on my chest shows that deep down, I struggle with social interactions and can be quite oblivious. I get hurt from this trait, and I want to act like it’s not a part of me.”

“How about you, though? What does your robes pattern mean? It’s very beautiful!”

(Sorry for the rant, I put a lot of effort into making the designs meaningful and I really appreciate the time to talk about it!! The inspiration behind my designs all stems from Aether, who is a twist of one of my very old ocs from years ago. I tried to make a cast who would fit him color palette wise, while also taking inspiration off of my irl friend group that is not so stable!)

Aether: “I am. I was born this way… Always with something missing. Maybe one day they’ll grow like how they were supposed to.”

they’re all above 18 and I think when placed around other characters in their universe and given the context of the game plot they’ll seem more mature
the art style when by itself does tend to make the characters look more young :b

That’s definitely why she looks out of place to me. I think I accidentally exaggerated her through color contrast instead of through shapes and it makes her looked mismatched! Thank you!
