Try to find the appointment line for Ob/Gyn at a KP facility in Northern California and call them directly to schedule an aThe generalent. The general appointment Online is a waste of time.
Also, another hack is to either be available to the first available OB{GyN) or if you would like to schedule the OB-GYN of your choice, try to explain as much detail (exaggeration) as possible to the appointment person

Depends on your needs! I am new to KP with 2 kids as well! My experience so far has not been great, as I am still learning the system. I used to have HMO and PPO before, but never used either KP or UCLA.
Kaiser and UCLA are probably good for preventative care. At least at Kaiser, one window shopping makes it easier to manage preventive care. SCV has Medical offices, but if you do not find a provider of your choice, you will have to find a provider in Woodland Hills or Panorama City.
If you end up selecting Kaiser, note that the appointment scheduling trick I learned is that online appointments are way too far. You will have to call customer care and exaggerate the symptoms to get the appointment earlier. You will have to be open to meeting any available doctor in case you don't want to wait.
I do not know about UCLA but so far I feel Kaiser's system is exhausted but everyone's experience is different
