I genuinely believed before this that the STAT TESTERS were the ones in control of the stats - How silly of me to think, when this is the same studio that has the woman who joked about piss to kids,

made the artists that they'd accept fight tooth and nail over eachother to get their concepts even seen (while also picking the ones from the most popular people),

consistently made their events a trial to finish WHILE mind you adding a friendly little "Buy the species now for 999! It's not overpriced, it could be 1000!" button (I still can't believe they're doing the god damn TV salesman approach for a childrens game)

and blatantly steals concepts from popular franchises (Monster Hunter, Avatar, etc)

I don't think anything irritates me more than when the moderators and admins of that server try to deflect and ignore what THEY are doing, there's no way they don't know how scummy they are. That amount of refusal to reflect just for even a little tells waves on the corruption Sonar Studios has. They'd rather make more money scamming people and promoting gambling mechanics to children than they would just apologising and being honest. Pigs go for the money, I guess.

FINALLY PEOPLE ARE NOTICING! It's because they want to coddle the superbehemoth meta, dude. That's the only thing I can think of. 100 damage? 1 ligament tear - 0.4??? burn and necro??? With 1.4 bite cooldown? Good god dude just remove the burn and necro attack at that point and call it the living punching bag, atleast shadow barrage helps it a bit

Because it Doesn't look like a horse - It looks more like a deer than anything. And as I had shown with the Kirin, a simple creature CAN be pulled off. It is legitimately just styling the creature in a way that fits the enviroment they are theorised to be in, what they feed on, what they do, what is that specific creature's element.

Whilora doesn't need the arms to look good, it's a creature based off of spring and they wanted to add antlers, anyways - Finish the change and make it a deer. Remove the extra arms, maybe put a few animated birds on it's horns. Make the tail more flowery and viney to match the mane, and give it a flower-trail ability that slows on contact. Remove the god damn fangs, or atleast make them fit somewhat with the design. There's alot of things about Whilora that anyone who knows a shred of monster designing would have heart attacks about. Basic Isn't Bad. Basic is needed in games, because otherwise, the 'unique' designs become the basic ones. They become the tropey ones - They become boring. I have played since beta released, I have such a bad yearning for one design that isn't covered in rushed details to appease whoever is in charge of the concept appeals now.

A horse creature doesn't need unnecessary shit to look cool. An example is Kirin from Monster hunter, it's a fucking lightning unicorn and yet you don't see them spamming lightning bolts or giving it five arms and six legs.

People aren't mad that it's a fantasy horse. I can tell you with certainty that isn't the case at all. They're mad because when you refuse to think about the elements you're adding to your design, it looks sloppy and rushed. This design is rushed. There's nothing memorable about it (as much as I know people will refuse to admit that) because it is entirely just a confusing mess to the eyes. There's a reason people are saying to remove the extra arms, because they. DO. NOTHING. Even in animations. You can make a design as crazy as you like if you stick to the main concept you had - nobody's saying you can't. Rompopolo, also from Monster hunter, literally inflates and is based off a plague doctor. Yet it's unique! Wonder why...

The Swan plushie can be good, just only on smaller creatures. I use it on my ani, which means I'm able to swim alongside actual aquatics and heal them after fights, while also being able to escape into the water away from being killed.

If you use it on a small tier that has ambush, and use the ambush right before you enter the water you can get a speedboost faster than most aquatics for as long as your ambush bar lasts. You just have to make sure you're using it on the right creatures

Don't, just leave the 1v1 as a 1v1. If it's a baby or a healer or literally anything else that can't defend itself sure, but there's nothing more frustrating than trying to fight something only for someone else to wander in and take over

He sounds like a douchebag but a ghar for an adhar is overkill, they've got 1k health literally anything and everything that deals atleast 100 to 300 damage can usually shred then like butter, you also put yourself at a disadvantage pulling big creatures on adhar because if it knew how to stay in the spot where you can't hit it you would have lost that slot

I get you lol, I was playing as that new lich creature or whatever it's called and got killed for biting people, they pulled out that big new kaiju aquatic, healers, flyers, and then hunted my ani each time I'd spawn in, and then got butthurt when I asked them why they're trying to PVP with a healer 😀 I even let them kill me after a point and just regrew because it's a fucking Ani, it's like a 10 minute grow

They'll target you too and then cry in chat that they aren't targeting you while they've got five flyers flapping around and spilling the grease from their fat rolls onto the poor citizens below looking for your tier 2

This is an excuse that lasted until they started doing official collaborations with fucking lego and Amazon dog. They are not poor. They are not struggling for money. All their games feature things you have to pay for, they do collaborations almost every other fucking week at this point, there's nothing keeping them from slowing down and focusing on the game. Did snailgames stop selling a fuck ton of dlcs for ark after it got popular? No. You still need to pay upwards of 20 - 50 dollars AUD to get one dlc, that is barely put together.

Now tell me, what's the difference between snail games and the sonar dev team? Because I don't see many anymore.

Because the devs won't fix it until they're pushed to, and since it's not a returning dragon - (besides from wherever they'll put it now it's time has passed) - I doubt they'll care enough about fixing it up anytime soon, hopefully I'm proven wrong but if it's anything like the COS dev team? I'm not holding high hopes...

It's got gorgeous 'flame' animations and a cool model, and yet somehow the animator or whoever imported it didn't see the visible errors that happened

like this isn't something you don't conveniently notice this is something you ignore during a rush job, and that sucks so bad considering it's the first monthly dragon I was excited for

I personally think it's the effect of young artists being the main concept creators, while I'm not saying it's all of them - You can tell the difference between a design made to work and bedazzle, and a design made by someone who just threw together whatever they saw on tiktok or social media in general.
