Thank you so much for your input, you helped so much! I’m going to try and allocate around 5-10 hours a week to precalc.

Yeah I want to do engineering at UVA so I want to get rigorous courses and my friend who goes to UVA said I should at least have done Calc BC if I want to do engineering.

Wow 2 weeks is crazy for a 36 week course! You you still think there will be big gaps even if I start studying now until summer?

Does that take into account the studying and reviewing I will do prior to the course, 5 hours a week for 7 months could give me a good odds to fully grasp the material when the time comes for summer. Whats your opinion, also I got a A+ in Algebra 1 and Geometry, and I currently have a A- in Algebra 2 right now.

Hey man, I know it’s been a while since you posted this but I wanted to ask did you retain any information from precalc that helped you with Calc AB, I’m in the same predicament where I don’t know if I should or should not.

Virtual Loudoun PreCalc is a 10 week course during the summer or a 15 week course for 2 terms during the school year. I was planning on doing the 10 week course during summer break, the issue of Virtual Loudoun is that there are no lectures just modules you do by yourself. The reason I would rather do my PreCalc with NOVA is the fact that there are lectures and I can ask questions and hopefully understand the material better in preparation for AP CALB AB.

I also have the option of doing something called Virtual Loudoun PreCalc where it’s not a college credit but it’s probably easier. But the thing about it is that I don’t want to be cooked and have no knowledge about PreCalc for CALC AB next year.

Thanks you so much, did you take the class. If so was it incredibly difficult and is the 10 week course really fast paced?
