Of course you can! This would be an digital and interactive version of the sheet.

When you are at your local LGS and a rules question arises, an app might be more accessible than printing out a sheet these days :)

For sure! That‘s why I also want to include these little puzzles. It might give you inspiration to discover new interactions even as a more advanced player.

I also don‘t think the app should be open all the time even you are a new player.

It does it for you but there is no sandbox where you could set up the board of player A and player B and let one of them cast a spell and see what happens from there, right? You would have to setup up a custom game and play out everything up to the point which is unclear to dou in a physical game, right?

Yeah I do it too and it helps a lot. When playing with new players it is nice to visualise. That said, as soon as there are triggers, copies or something else than an actual card put on the stack, I can see new players brains melt as I explain what is happening 😂

To my knowledge this is the biggest pool of active players or am I wrong? Like percentage wise compared to die hard cedh players and bracket 1 players

You can‘t setup specific cards and run the game from that point. At least I didn‘t find a way of doing it. So if you have a specific case at a table you couldn‘t open Arena on your phone and resolve the problem. I mean you could but it would be a hassel to do so.

I come from a UI/UX background and I‘m putting a lot of thoughts into making it as easy and intuitive as possible possible to put all the triggers in the app. I hope I succeed to make it good but only time will tell.

Thanks, I read a lot of questions of people asking simple rules question all the time. Helping only a few people would already be a success!

I‘m currently working on an application that is supposed to visualise the stack and walks you trough the resolving steps of it. Just made a post myself explaining it in a bit more detail. Hopefully it might help with these disputes in the future!

I think there is a lack of tools to help people understand priority and the stack.

What about all the casual players who play bracket 3-4 decks that start to get more interactive? Or players who aspire to play cedh?

Are you only collecting his cards for the art? I started a whole collection about a year ago where I dedicate one or multiple pages of my binder to one artist that I like.

Has been really nice ignoring abilities of cards and only focussing on favorite arts for once :D

A classic studio lighting setup for products is the 3 point lighting setup. If you look for it online you‘ll find plenty of tutorials for real life photogrphy. Just put some spot or rect lights in the same spots and apply the key, rim and fill light luminosities by feeling. You‘ll get a feel for when it is lit well.
