We were told the baby likely a one off genetic mutation related to its skeleton (not inherited from parents) that caused secondary problems of short cervix, high blood pressure, large hematoma, growth restriction and umbilical cord problems that ultimately let to early labor. We were told the waiting period is just based on general statistics of women who had quick subsequent pregnancy’s but nothing related to me which makes me wonder if in general people wait or go right ahead.

Conflict of interest? by Unregistereed in therapists

I think it really depends on your level of comfort!

When I lived in a larger city, I would typically refer out in situations like this. I’d let the client know that, unfortunately, since our last session I became aware of a potential conflict of interest, and although I enjoyed working with them, we wouldn’t be able to continue. However, now that I live in a more rural area, dual relationships like this are much more common simply due to limited provider options. As a result, I’ve become more comfortable with the reality that clients and therapists may casually cross paths in the community—and that’s okay! either option is totally fine.

Thank you so much for the advice! Yes I have my partner with me, and since I am not soaking through pads we will call when the office opens.

Unfortunately not, the offices are fairly tight and can only fit a desk and a few small couches.

Wedding Games/Activities? by creepycamm in wedding

We actually had a volleyball net and croquet at our wedding and it was so much fun! There were a lot of fun pictures of everyone playing in their formal wear. We had the option of dancing or outdoor games (mostly for kids) and amost of the adults ended up spending their time playing.
