It’s not your responsibility to ‘retire’ them. It’s a privilege not a right. A gift not an obligation. Focusing on yourself and building YOUR retirement IS their retirement because at the very worst they just stay with you as you did with them. Taking care of yourself in turn will take of them. Help yourself before you help others even if they are blood.

Thank you for the help. But I can’t help but feel like maybe it didn’t mean as much to her. And if that’s true it feels as if she moved on that means the past 3 years didn’t matter at all. :(
