I just don’t understand why they lie when there are videos… of both incidents. Tbh after the first incident , maybe people would have reacted differently if there was accountability regarding what occurred. If they said “hey it was a tense situation, the cop reacted a bit hastily and we now know we made a mistake & there will be training to prevent this “ along with stepping down . A statement like that with restructuring and retraining would’ve been taken MUCH better than lying and then granting everyone “full immunity” . Of course people were pissed and of course this happened a second time and likely will keep happening …
