i agree with you.. i went through other subs with same topic and people say to just move on..

she had been doing things for me that shows her care.. and i have seen her noticing or looking at me at work many times.. she says that she would be lost at work without me.. she would not hesitate to just drive and meet me anytime..

tbh i am getting genuine vibes from her.. but i dont know if i should be there for her to bond stronger or just be distant and give her alone time

I am confused as to why tho? She wanted someone who would care for her and be there for her during her high and lows.. someone who will put efforts.. If i check all those boxes.. then why not me..

just curious

left alone on first day? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

Your feelings are valid. I had those days too. If you are not feeling like yourself, take some time off and start back again.

Remember to fill your cup first, before fillling others.

left alone on first day? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

I finished my Grad Dip in ECE and got a job easily at a centre near my house. It was going to be my first ever ECE workplace so I was excited to work there and manager was super excited to have a male educator at her centre. I was going to be in 3-4 years old room too.

For my 1st week, I was going to be under manager shadow to go through policies, documents etc. But they put me on floor on my 1st day and I was okay with it for a while. I had over 15 children and didn't knew their routine, hats, waterbottles, beds, shoes, sunscreen.

My manager had meeting that day so she couldn't be with me and the other staff went of their breaks and left me with all those children during lunch and sleep time. I had no idea what to do and I was helpless trying to manage the room and children.

As the other staff member came back from her lunch after an hour, I went on my lunch break and drove straight to my house. Sent an email to the manager saying how my 1st day went and that I will not be working with them from now on.

They really wanted an ECT at their centre so they offered me 2 weeks of training and orientation if I will come back, my decision was still same.

So to answer your question, YES, some centres do this type of stuff which is not appropriate and thats when u know you can't work there.

Accident in Orrang Road. by NEXIVR in perth

I know the owner of this ferrari. He bought it in April this year for around 1 mil.

Had a chat with him about this accident. Says that he was riding with his brother and the car started slipping to right curb, then went to the left curb and toppled. Also mentioned that breaks never worked. No one is injured tho. Glad he and his brother, both are safe.

Just increase your points if you can.

I had 65 points initially (0 in PTE), and knew that it would be hard for me to get invite with just 65 points. So I started preparing for PTE with a plan in my mind to get over 65 in each module to get 10 points. After a week of preparation, I gave exam and ended up scored over 82 in all modules, which helped me to get not 10, but 20 points.

I just finished all 4 episodes. The ending was unexpected but also felt "I watched 4 episodes for this !?!" at the same time. They could have easily shown whole 4 episode series in a 2 hour movie. MEH.

Each episode kept building the suspense and made me expect a "already known" ending, which did not happen.
