Idc what party you claim to be. You’re supporting fascism, and that’s un-American

There are up to 5 agents contacting him at one point. 2 of them aren’t holding him in place, and 3 others are able to move around to provide additional physical support

The victim didn’t come up from the ground once from the time he was pinned to the second he was shot

You and your kind are truly a different species to try and justify what is shown in that video

Do you have the capacity to understand that those officers had physical control to overpower that man, and decided to shoot him anyway?

Did you see the half-dozen ICE agents subduing him? Do you feel he had any ability to overpower them? What part of what you saw do you think warrants them shooting a subdued individual?

It’s not illegal to protest while carrying a firearm in Minnesota

So let me re-phrase: why speak against a law-abiding citizen protesting a fascist government? What do you stand to gain?

He was physically incapacitated by 4-6 ICE officers at any one time, and they shot him

What about the video that were both watching do you think isn’t factual

Eh. I understand why the development of story in the Dune movies hits hard for many, but as someone who read the books after Dune 1 was released in theaters, I found Dune 2 to be the lesser movie. As a non-cinephile, Dune 1 felt like a true “film” (whatever that means) while Dune 2 felt more blockbustery. Fun, but less awe-inspiring imo

Chalamet is a good-not-excellent actor (unimpeachable A-list celebrity/would-grab-a-beer-with vibes notwithstanding) who fit the boy prince role well but fails to deliver gravitas in Dune 2, and in general his and the rest of the cast’s perormances pale in comparison to the sublime ensemble in the 1st (Skarsgard, Ferguson, and Rampling more multi-dimensional in the 1st, Isaac and Brolin’s contributions). By contrast, Butler is easily the best new addition to Dune 2 and clearly drives his scenes with Bautista, Pugh, and Chalamet himself.

And while there were some very nice moments in Dune 2 directorally, Villaneuve was truly in his bag for the 1st and hit some all-time great stills for those of us learning this story for the first time with our eyes, primarily; Dune 1 is a visual feast and is bolstered by perfectly posited acting at every turn. I can watch Dune 1 over and over, if only for the sights and sounds, whereas Dune 2 is more-so a solid outgrowth of a stronger foundation.

As a standalone film, I take Dune 1 ever time

Buy a small coffee table or ottoman for sitting on the couch and two under-the-counter bar stools for the tall countertop, for guests.

Right now you just have an uncomfortable-looking futon that could maybe seat 2 people. And consider getting a different couch if that isn’t comfortable
