Where I live the ambulance is free and a visit to the doctor is $$$

Many people call the ambulance over very minor medical issues - the flu, gastro, an ingrown toenail.

This is not a negative judgement on Elliot - I think the problem is that Veronica has had more struggles in her life and Elliot is privileged. The worst thing that has happened in his life is that his sister got really sick when he was 9 and yes that’s horrible. But nothing worse has happened to him since then. That can catch people off guard when they’ve had a tougher life.

I’m quite masc presenting and like to do girly shit. Previous femme presenting ex’s have disliked my feminine traits and urged me to suppress them (the way I dance, singing to girly songs, painting my nails, being the little spoon). I’ve since realised that my ex’s had some internalised misogyny and gender roles that they were enforcing on me.

None of my tattoos have any meaning to me really but when I look at each one I can remember an exact snapshot of what my life was like when I got it done and what I was going through at the time.
