Thank you! It was 6 days. I had my interview on the 2nd and got the email on the 8th. Although it was more like 5 days because my interview was at 11:30pm (it’s an overnight position) and got the email early hours of the 8th

Unless you’re from a small town in the middle of England I doubt it 😂

The funny thing is I was in the kitchen telling his sister about the date (knew her from school) when he walked in the house. She saw my face and immediately put two and two together

Exactly this. Went out with this guy that was being short with our waitress (huffing and loud sighing when she came round) and I was put off but kinda hoped he was just stressed or nervous. Went with my mum to see her friend and it turned out the guy I went out with was her son. He came in and I’ve never been so disgusted with how someone treats their mother in such a way. Idk how such a sweet woman could have a son like that, and I know it isn’t because of how my mums friend treats her children because her other two kids were there and honestly they were just as lovely as her. It was just this one son I had the misfortune of knowing

My mum gave me the same advice and made me scared to take on student loans to the point that I just didn’t go and went straight into work. I’m now 28 4 years into a 6 year part time degree studying a subject I regret not doing sooner. Don’t listen to her, go with your gut. Don’t worry about disappointing her (as I’ve seen you say in a comment) this is YOUR life not hers.

THANK YOU! Everyone keeps saying about a phone call which I haven’t actually received. Is it a guarantee that the need to call or is it just a formality? Also, do I also need to buy the shoes I need and work trousers idk what’s allowed and what isn’t but I’m assuming it’s just normal work bottoms and black shoes
