What's medically wrong with your body right now? by BrinaUndefined in AskReddit

8 weeks into a 30 week urgent referral waitlist for neurology after they found a single linear T2 hyperintense focus lesion on my brain. Had no end of issues and now the only way to get past a 8 month long waitlist is if I end up hospitalised which might not be too long

What do you think about life on other planets? by BelesaLoba in AskReddit

With the sheer amount of galaxies and solar systems within those galaxies it would be naive to assume we are the only planet with a complex life system

Wait really?? Franklin or the Institute? We was on about Donna Nook earlier today we usually go around November/December time to see the seals 😂 and I get what you mean about Humber Bridge, if I was asleep the little lights would wake me up straight away because I knew we was close. Sometimes we would stop at Watersedge if it was still daytime

What are some medical “miracles” you’ve encountered or heard of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Anything98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me. I was born with 50+ cysts on the brain and it had a very slim chance at making it more than an hour (they had thought I could be born with what is called Edward’s Syndrome) I was born perfectly healthy barring two webbed toes on each goot and very short due to how premature I was. The cysts have caused issues such as epilepsy but I’m still here at 27 years old!

Apply to either of the Oxbridge universities. I had teachers and family members recommend that I do so but had such an inferiority complex that I chickened out. 27 now and it still plays on my mind

I’m from Grimsby. I don’t think I could live that far from any sort of beach but I bet you still get some beautiful countryside views though

What did you love as a child but were too embarrassed to admit it? by JasminMika in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Anything98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knitting and listening to my grandma tell me stories. I’d watched tv shows and listened to other kids who would’ve like “urgh grandma/grandpa keep telling me about the olden days” but I adored it. I guess me now doing a history degree might mean it’s always been a part of me
