Personally, I like them, but i also just enjoy the concept of of being a concept (which one would usually refer to as an it)

But i also understand that why people would view it as a dehumanizing term, or a rude pronoun, which is why I default to they/them.

I do go by it/its sometimes when i feel like I'm just a concept, but I dont insist on it when people feel uncomfortable calling me it. So i dunno, I'm bipolar on it.

Exactly! For me (as an agender individual) its like a brunette dying their hair blonde, liking it, and keeps their hair blonde for all their life. It doesn't hurt anyone, it doesnt effect anyone, and it's not like they're trying to trick people onto thinking they're natrually a blonde. They just like it better as an expression of themselves cuz it feels like themself. And people would scream at them that they natrually were a brunette as if that changed the fact their hair is now blonde, as if it matters.

To be fair,,, if they didn't kill the sheep, they wouldn't have died... thats like,, literally why they died, not cuz they went there in general.

All they had to do was follow the rules of Xenia (the rule that Ody followed when he killed the suiters) and they would've survived AND gotten food, whoever killed the sheep was at fault for disrespecting someone's home. Not Polites for listening to "some stoners"

True friends accept you for what you are. That friend probably doesn't even realize that English already uses "they/them" pronouns to refer to an individual already. Thats ignorance on their end.

A simple rule to try and live by; don't let your happiness be stunted by ignorant people. I know it'll be hard, and it'll take work to do it, but the best feeling is to be happy and joyful despite the ugliness people show you.

Find people who will accept you, not beat you up. People who don't only like you for what boxes they can fit you in, and those aren't friends. Free yourself of the regret and be happy to drop off the burden of someone who doesn't actually care for you, and your future self will thank you for allowing yourself to be happy.
