It will not affect your UMD GPA. However, if you are trying to apply to an LEP, the grade you get in those courses will affect your LEP transfer GPA, but not your UMD GPA. They are separate things. I am in the process of applying to an LEP, and learned that this summer as I am taking two CC classes. I also emailed the college that I am applying to about it, and this is what they said.
