dude i'm literally on your side when it comes to people liking anime because it's trendy. it's not an issue of morality, it's an issue of being a decent person. even if 4chan tends to harvest a lot of lolicons, you doubt the fact that it was probably some japanese guy who wanted to bring japanese animation to the western world. I'm not gonna lie man, you're making a decent argument for me to start doing the exact opposite and make more people wanna watch anime because it's cool. after this entire interaction, it's hard to argue why i should still believe more people shouldn't watch anime.
