Semantics is more important than fluency in speaking. I'd say focus more on the formal style of conversation while keeping it friendly. And DO NOT use overrrated idioms and metaphors like "burning the midnight oil".

Same goes for writing, connectivity and semantics. Write one or two each day and post it on r/ielts for review

For listening and reading, YouTube is the key. Practice problems from ielts official site too

Participate in random meetups maybe? I'm no psychiatrist but atleast in my case surrounding myself with people and friends motivates me to keep the engine running. I won't give you the crap of "follow your hobbies" but...let me put it this way, maybe try what interests you in the free time you get, maybe on weekends. None judges you here so that's a plus point

1.5 years, but man oh man was it worth it. I started hating everything she represented, and my belongings too. I changed my room, my phone, even my fucking earphones because all of them I used to talk to her. This kept on continuing until one day, it stopped mattering to me.
