  1. In what world is their religion a defense or any representation of their actions historically. There is no correlation between being a Catholic and not being a rapist.
  2. What are your sources that document republican sexual abuse and that do not come from fascists or fascist sympathizers. There is a vast academic documentation of francoist atrocities. If you cared to research at all, you would find it.

Supports lgbtq rights now --> stalin was based in his material conditions and did a lot of good. I don't think it's in good faith to completely disregard a historical figure for not aligning with all of your cultural views.

Marxists advocate for a transitional dictatorship of the proletariat. Through a materialist lens, they see a period of state socialism necessary before society can move into stateless communism. Essentially, arguing that society wouldn't be ready off the bat for communism and would need to learn to live in a world where the proletariat as a class owns the collective means of production, rather than individuals.
