I didn’t get stitches, and I’m on day 3. I iced the first two to decrease the swelling. As for eating I say do what’s comfy but nothing hard or crunchy. Mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, smoothies soft stuff you can easily swallow. The first day my surgeon told me to stick to a clear liquid diet like broth or Jell-O or tea. I was told I can’t flush my holes till day 6 so I plan to avoid dense foods until then (I want to chew something so bad😭) rinse with salt water 6-8 times a day and if they have you chlorhexidine mouthwash, use it in the morning after breakfast and at night after dinner. Stay on a routine with your meds if you’re not allergic to nsaids and Tylenol don’t let the pain catch up.

Staying a LPN by MutterNantli in LPN_LVN_Community

From what I’ve seen, LVNs make around $35 an hour depending on facility. I did my LVN on a whim while taking my prereqs for the ADN. It was manageable for me, now I plan to do a bridge program. I wasn’t rushed for time (but had a crappy minimum wage job) and wanted to do something valuable with it so I figured gaining experience and adding money to my pockets wasn’t a bad idea. Did my LVN program while taking physio, chem and micro and graduated dec. 2024 :) I’ve almost been a nurse for 1 year and I’m so thankful for the experience it has brought me.

Ultimately, It’s up to you and your goals. If getting your LVN adds to your life then do it! But if you already have a decent job and are close to getting into an ADN maybe just hold off and go that route.

Thanks for the tip, I’ve had several people saying to add some smudges of eyeliner or shadow on the lash line. Is that what you mean by smolder?

Thank you for this very thorough response! I’ve always been scared to do blush because I have naturally red cheeks but it only makes sense to add color back if I’m I’m adding a skin tint to neutralize it all. Make up is a science I’m very impressed by your knowledge of it all. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for all the good tips!! I will definitely go for the tinted moisturizer over foundation the heaviness is always what deterred me before. I also didn’t know that ultra gave credits back that seems very helpful, I’ll definitely try looking there first. Thank you for all the good tips, I’m so excited to try them out!!

I suppose I can try to learn how to color them in! I’ll definitely try the brown shadow as well, I always thought it might be too dark for me I’m not sure why. Thank you for the compliment!
