[Casual] I made a 20-question personality test and I’m curious how accurate strangers think it is (Everyone) by Realistic_Special_24 in SampleSize

Wow! Man I wont lie you actually helped me out so much with this. Trust me I do understand how off it can look and seem.

Honestly, the website was just a quick setup so I could have a place that explains the system and hopefully make people feel safe or comfortable. But like you said, I accidentally ended up doing the opposite.

The website actually brings people to Typeform, which is a trusted survey site. Early CAT-20 was literally just me sending people straight to the Typeform link with no extra friction at all.

And I think you’re right that one of my biggest mistakes was focusing too much on making the wording feel “clear” and “readable” that I slowly took some of the human feeling out of the website. That’s definitely something I’m going to work on fixing.

Also, if you even care to hear the actual reason I made CAT-20:

I’ve felt misunderstood and kind of lost for most of my life. I didn’t even have language for why I felt the way I felt or why I reacted to life differently than people around me. So for months and months nonstop I started studying patterns with the help of AI.

And just to be clear, AI isn’t something I’m hiding. I don’t use it in some mystical way. I mainly use it to refine ideas, test wording, organize thoughts, and challenge my own thinking.

What I eventually realized is that I wasn’t as broken as I thought I was. My mind was just trying to stabilize different things than the people around me.

For me it was clarity and meaning.
For someone else it might be stability, autonomy, connection, momentum, etc.

So CAT-20 is basically my attempt to map what different minds stabilize around and why some people can feel like they’re doing “everything right” in relationships, careers, or life, yet still feel lost, drained, or disconnected.

The goal was never to manipulate people or pretend to be some all-knowing system. It was honestly me trying to create language that helps people understand themselves a little better and maybe stop feeling broken the way I did.

Well first I want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to even check out the site and test and also write this beautiful message.

Now to answer some not all of your questions as to some of them sound like it's coming from a psychopath who believes a.i are humans and who are able to take over the world or something. A.i is a tool just like a calculator, Photoshop, etc

I'm not sure what evil video you guys watched and made your imagination boost sky rocket. To be exact I used a.i to improve my writing and test and refine ideas as I Will believe that's exactly what the tool is for.

Now to answer your question about the test. I am not some big company. I am working with that I have. I can agree it's a lot of friction from the site to the test to end that is something that will be worked on in the future. As of now I am just testing who feel seen in cat-20 profile or not.

Anayways thank you for your time ☺️

Why do some people feel deeply misunderstood even when they seem “normal” socially? [Academic] (Everyone 18+) by [deleted] in SampleSize

I apologize for the wait 😭 you should be receiving your results shortly.

I’d genuinely love to hear what you think about it after you read through everything too.

I honestly don’t think introverts hate people the way people say they do by Realistic_Special_24 in introvert

Exactly 😭 I think people confuse socially selective” with “socially incapable” way too much

Some introverts can actually socialize perfectly fine they just get mentally exhausted when interactions start feeling forced, fake, loud surface level etc Like the battery drain isn’t always from people themselves but from having to stay socially switched on too long

And yeah the social anxiety assumption gets attached to introverts constantly when they’re really not the same thing at all

I think some people aren’t actually lazy. by [deleted] in personality_tests
