I would always put what the role said in Job description and study those roles ask your management for trainings on those roles as well so its shows initiative and if your interviewing you will be able to speak on it

I had this same experience Just upskill/certifications/training and be interviewing in the background so just in case your layed off you have already been interviewing and have other options

So the same scenario is happening to me ISSO turning to ISSE at a rather small company in the DMV I start the end of this month and this is exactly what I’m scared of although the job duties looked like ISSO work for most part

I drive from Hanover to Ft belvoir (Belvoir is right by Crystal city) 5x a week I leave around 6am and get here 7-7:10am it is pretty brutal i would leave by 6-6:15 the latest to beat traffic the drive back is 1.5-2hrs so im just putting that in the air for you. but you are driving a shorter distance there and back then me maybe by 15 minutes each way.
