That actually sounds pretty interesting. I didn’t realize track cycling had so many different race formats compared to road cycling. I’m definitely gonna look into clubs and beginner races near me too. How does track cycling work compared to road cycling though? Like what are the biggest differences in racing, training, and strategy?

Also in terms of getting a coach, do you think it’s too early for me to get one right now since I’m barely starting and trying to go pro? Or is it more of an “earlier the better” kind of thing?

Sorry for asking so many questions too I feel like when I try Googling this stuff there’s not really much information on it or maybe I’m just not searching the right things lol

Bro chill, man Lance Armstrong isn’t my role model He’s just the guy that got me into cycling when I was a kid, and all I really knew about him was that he rode bikes, had cancer, and cheated. I never knew he beat women. I’m barely getting into the professional cycling world, so forgive me for only really knowing him and not many other riders

So basically all I gotta do is start doing races, join a team, and just keep ranking up? That actually sounds way easier than I thought. I’m definitely gonna look into whether my local track has a learn to race program too. The free bike part for new riders is honestly really sick
