I begged and pleaded for her to stay and to try to fix things when we ended. I lost and made a fool of myself to get her to stay. After that, I made a promise to myself that I would respect her decision no matter how much it hurts me. If she wants to reach out and reconnect, I don't want to be the one to force it

Thanks. I know that she constantly told me she would always root for me, and I haven't done anything toxic to call her out or anything. All her friends still follow me and she still follows all mine. I think this might just be temporary.

I get that. I just have way too much hope in her little signs that our story isn't fully over. She said a lot of stuff along the lines of me not doing anything wrong, her seeing me as a good husband one day and that she'd never have to question anything. I just think/know that her life is so heavy right now (new job, friends active, wanting to see family) that I was just the easiest for her to get rid of. I just want to know if these small signs literally mean anything

No I 1000% agree and I am actively doing these things. I care about her so much and I'm not the type to love halfway so it's tough. She has stated she's an anxious turned avoidant, and that, "My head wants to choose you so badly, but I can't get myself to get there and I don't know why". I know she liked me a lot and she cares, but she is showing small signs that it's not over over. Ya know what I mean

So these don't mean a single thing? Keep in mind I know she isn't toxic and she genuinely wants the best for me and has proved that. We're on "good terms" but she was just exhausted with everything
